I don't know what to think. Last Saturday I had Lobster Corn Dogs for dinner. With curried ketchup.

Yeah, that's one of the new foodie trends -- take a really expensive delicacy and turn it into an ersatz low-brow thing, then charge an arm and a leg for it. At first, dishes like these were unfailingly described as "whimsical," but at this point, they're getting so common that I think it's fair to call them "trying too hard."

Hm, for this one it just didn't mix. you bite it, and you taste the lobster, and you taste the crust, but you just don't taste the two of them together.

Once when I was in high school my buddies and I drove up to South Philly to visit this one guy's grandma; before we even stretched a leg out of the car she was on the steps, saying, "None of you smokes in the house until you clean up the garage and mow the lawn."

The forced labor paid off. She made the best corn dogs in the world.
