100 meters of existence (photo) The longer I explore this, the better it gets.
That is 100 meters of awesome. Thank you!

Is it my mood, or does something about that seem really bleak and depressing? (Maybe it's the WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE written across the top of the page?)

Quite the opposite to me, pupps... I think it's really a beautiful image.

Yeah, I'm with mudpuppie, another title and I woulda liked it much more. I like the guy giving the camera the finger.

Oh yeah, this is totally great. Just, really, really great.

And of course, it is true: we are all gonna die. Not sure why the photographer felt like he needed to write that, but, hey, it's his art!

Coolness, as always, BP. thanks for sharing!

I didn't get the why "We're all going to die" is the title. One of the people looked a lot like Kirsten Dunst.

I liked it. Thanks.

What a wonderful snapshot of humanity. Thanks for sharing, BP.

My favorite is probably the guy with the earrings and the silly smirk, eating an ice cream bar.

Reminds me of this great shot of a guy in a purple mohawk carrying flowers to leave at Buckingham Palace for Princess Diana, bawling his eyes out.

There's a red-haired woman in a red coat, profile, just barely acknowledging the camera. Who does she remind me of (besides Barbara Bush)? Is that the Kirsten Dunst reference?

What was it with the eyepatch theme (two people just went to the doctor nearby, probably not from the same shot, though)?

Oh, another good contradiction -- the mother with a baby in a pram, wearing a pirate skull t-shirt.

Lots of people talking on or looking at their cell phones. I always think it's funny how we try to imagine what the future will be like and we didn't imagine people walking down the street absorbed in a funny gadget the size of a pack of cards.

My favorite was the daddy with the sling, pausing to check the little one.

I love that guy, too, lysdexic... and I also saw that he was next to the guy dhartung noted as cool (and he is). That's what I love about it: 178 (?) people in one place, and almost all of them are fascinating to me.

That WAS great. I didn't click on it yesterday because the title was depressing. Neat, neat, neat.
