Speaking of Facebook ... Could we have a MetaChat group? Or is that too un-cool for words? In the alternative -- if anyone wants to Facebook friend me, please do! (ccenter@las-elc.org)

And when I accidentally just clicked "Send invite" it said you did exist, but had your privacy settings such that you did not want to appear to exist.

I didn't realize how many different privacy settings there are! I just changed my "who finds me in a search" setting.

I am on Facebook but unfortunately, I shy away from friending people I know through MetaFilter or joining MetaFilter-related groups because I'm antsy about my privacy.

I requested friendship. I can not have too much friendship. I much prefer awesome MeCha people who I feel I've in some way connected with or related to, to elementary-school people I knew in real life but whom I haven't seen in 25 years.
