The best ketchup I ever tasted was in Egypt. After many years I have forgotten the brand, and the internet is failing me right now. I have pictures buried somewhere in a box in my parents' basement. Such good ketchup. I hope to taste it again someday.
Totally awesome. We as a nation have a deeply conflicted relationship with our cultural artifacts, I think. It's nice to see that another strand of the "old, weird America" still survives.
YEAY it's still around, I linked it in interview with Luke Sullivan that I did ageeeeeees ago and they changed navigation or something so I thought it was dead (the interview however still gets a lot of hits)
