"Interesting".

A "pattern" seems to have "developed."

They're using quotation "marks" for "emphasis."

Paul Fussell referred to this "habit" in his book "Class."

Funny. But I do find it amusing that they can't always tell when the quotes are used correctly. and where? is the ironic use of quotations in my comment? you ask yourself? Am I "bucking" the "trend"? Or can I just not tell? my "F"s from my "B"s?

I had the same thought, taz! That was one occasion where quotes were being used in a defensible way.

Still - great blog! "Thanks!"

Funny! In the UK, we even have an expression, the grocer's apostrophe, to refer to their inappropriate habit of apostrophizing plural nouns.

My boss and I "love" this site so much she got me a pair of "earrings" shaped like quotation marks for Christmas.
