Poem's okay... I love some of his others, though. His collection, Walking to Martha's Vineyard, especially. I had tickets to see him read at 92nd Street Y, but then I didn't go. I do that a lot.

We never had many books (I can't remember any, actually) when I was a kid and living with my birth mother, but I remember I stole my fourth grade reader. It had these great illustrations of kids riding bikes and climbing trees and shit that went with the stories, and big type. I loved that book.

I liked that a lot.
