1. We were getting ready to go to my husband's work christmas party when we heard a knock on the door. It was my son, a day early! He'd driven straight thru.

2. Went to party anyway (son was fine with that) and were probably the only two sober people in the room. Considering these were all in the real estate business in this economic climate, I suppose that makes sense. We only had to stay a couple of hours.

3. My own company Christmas party is tomorrow afternoon. I will make a brief appearance and come home early cuz, son is home!

1. Had double date brunch with my best friend and her new dude- OMG he was so bad! Boring, not cute, interrupter. I don't know what she sees in him at all! Made me appreciate my dude even more for listening to his stories and being so much more awesome than friend's dude.

2. Went to the MOMA and saw some art, or "aaaht" as they call it where I'm from.

3. Walked out of a bad MOMA movie, and my awesome dude got me some cookies instead.
