A thread about chocolate and apparently sweetened condensed milk[More:]

Over the weekend I made chocolate gelato substituting microwave dulce de leche for the chocolate chunks, which worked well.

If you're a fan of Nutella, here's a relatively healthier homemade recipe. American supermarket Nutella just can't compare. :( Or! If you're lazy, one part unsweetened cocoa powder with one part sweetened condensed milk (Eagle brand) makes a good and cheap spread, haha.

On a different tangent, anyone else amazed at how many types of hershey kisses there are?! (some limited ed. some not)
I'm very boring - I like the classic versions of candy bars; why mess with a good thing? However, the lemon cream Kisses sound awesome - WANT!

The candycane Kisses are AMAZING. Seriously good. And the caramel ones are totally awesome, but those are available here year-round.

I bet in Japan they have, like, crazy Kisses.

I've never been able to get into Nutella -- I don't really dig hazelnut flavour. If it was just plain chocolate I'd probably eat it out of a jar.
