Some more good news →[More:] I handed in my dissertation a couple of hours ago. The nice woman at grad studies made sure everything was there, then rang a bell and said "ladies and gentlemen, Dr. special-k." Then everyone cheered.

I am now Dr. special-k! It has not sunk in yet but feels good to be done after 64 months.

Congratulations!

When I finished my master's program, I went home and said to my cat (who was the only one home), "You are the cat of a master now!"

I still remind her of that fact sometimes. It's good to have something to lord over one's cats.
