Thanks. I took them at Jacob Riis Park, at the western end of the Rockaway peninsula.

The path to the beach is Beach 169th street. The surf fisherman photo was taken at the left (western) edge of the half-circle. The "from the boardwalk to the surf" and the clouds photo were taken around the middle of the half-circle.

Tried to post a google maps link but it kept going to Rockaway Beach, OR. I'll try again later.

Oh, yeah. It goes on and on for miles. It's such a beautiful place. I loved the wide horizons, the open spaces and the quiet. It was soooooo quiet there.
