Fourteen Women→[More:]I'm watching it now on the Sundance channel. I highly recommend. It's very inspiring and well done.
It's fascinating to watch and learn what prompted these senators to go into politics, and to hear about their work and service.
All 14 female senators get together for a monthly lunch. They talk about issues and "girly things" and don't allow differing ideologies get in the way of friendship.
I had no idea that Diane Feinstein was present during the assassination of George Mascone.
I would also like to say that you big city people are very lucky. You get the limited releases and the good movies. It is slim pickings at my local theaters. Happy-Go-Lucky isn't playing here and the Lee Atwater story never came. I hope Rachel at the Wedding shows up soon.
Lori, I live in a medium sized city and we don't get those movies either. It you see the words "limited release" or "selected cites", it means that it won't come to a giga-plex in Pittsburgh. I hate reading the movie reviews in the NY Times, 'cause we never get half the movies that New York does. What's the point of having a 24 screen theater if 12 of the screens are showing "Max Payne"?
