It is a common misconception that kittens are made of soft and cuteness. In reality, they are made of claws and teeth. *OW! STOP IT!*

The teeth don't bother so much, little kitten bites are sort of cute, but those claws! When I play with our kittens with a mouse toy, I hold the tail of the toy and spin it around and kittens go nuts, but quite often they end up hooking my hand with a nail while trying to get the mouse. Ouch.

I've been election crazed... CRAZED. Reloading google news and mefi, tpm, polling sites, etc. every two minutes - so today I decided to force a break, and we just spent the afternoon drinking wine and cooking and... watching youtube videos of cute dogs and cats.

This totally works.

Would link some awesome kitten videos now, but must go eat fabulous food.

I have a lot of respect for cats. A cat can f*** you up if it wants to. They are so small and cozy, but they pack power that results in genuine human "OW."
