I know a lullaby. My mom used to sing it--

Tura-lura-lura, tura-lura-lie...

I like to refer to 3am as the speedbump in the middle of the night. Perhaps some TV and warm milk?

I'm sorry ej, that sux.

Carbs and a poppy field.

I'll try reading in bed. I'm in the middle of an Ian McEwan book, which is fairly wordy so I'll see if a few pages of that does it. Luckily the only plan I have for tomorrow is to watch Man Utd v Everton live on TV at lunchtime, so I can get up late.

Ad our clocks go back this weekend, so I'll gain an extra hour on Sunday.

Masturbation and a good book help me.

Well, mostly it's the reading that does it. The masturbation is just me time.

i thought it said "Masturbation and the good book."
Ahoy hoy.

I turn head-to-toe in the bed. It's odd to wake up upside down, but it does put me to sleep.

That works for me too. I'm not sure why. Um, the head to toe thing.

Let's not discuss my 20s here.

I know how that goes, EJ.
What mct says sounds good to me. Not THE Good Book, of course.

Here, temperature is a big player in comfort. Are you too hot? Too cold?

Unhappy with the job? Or is that just me and my job? ;)

Hang in there, love. Hope you get some rest soon.

They say it's not a good idea to read in bed -- bed is for sleeping and certain other things, but definitely not for reading (or watching tv).

Maybe consider reading (something non-alarming) while sitting up in a chair . . . ?

Gah. It was 4.45 before I could get to sleep. But I've only just got up and it's after 11am, so that's good. And I discovered that my team is not playing live on TV today :-(
