F/X has been advertising a new show, "Testees." It's about medical guinea pigs. It appears to be aimed at the demographic who laughs at fart jokes and footballs to the crotch. An observation within...[More:]

When they first started pumping the show, the announcer pronounced it "TESTees." Like, you know, hahaha, balls.

I thought that was really lame, but chalked it up to a marketing decision.

I just saw another ad, and they're pronouncing it correctly now: "TestEEs."

Why the change? Anyone else notice? Any theories? Wish I could dig up some of the older adverts to give you a comparison.
My theory would be that it was a focus-group decision. But I have absolutely nothing to back that up.

Haven't heard of this but it sounds like it should do OK. Like the stuff that has made Judd Apatow and Seth Rogen wealthy.

Don't get FX anymore, and I don't really mind. Ever since they stopped showing reruns of 90210, and started showing Fear Factor all the time, I pretty much stopped paying attention.
