Feel sorry for me! Argh. I just had to turn down a stipend position with the Obama campaign from now until the election because if I went, I would have no job to return to. →[More:] I'm not particularly attached to my job--in fact, I'd take any good opportunity to leave it--but I need my job, can't afford to create a gap on my resume and don't trust the market enough to believe I'd be able to find a new job on November 5..

So, I'll just do weekend forays into Wisconsin and hope I haven't passed up the opportunity of a lifetime. Tonight, I'm going to whiskey my regrets into submission.
