Stock today, leaf-peeping tomorrow.This is the stock recipe I'm using (everything I ever make from her website is mind-blowing!).
Made beef stew yesterday. Should be approaching fully scrumptious by late afternoon today.
Also:
Friend 1: come on over for dinner tonight! We're having matzo ball soup.

Mmmm. I just got back from the farmer's market and will be making apple squares for breakfast in a bit (basically apple pie with a tiny bit of sweet frosting on top). And white bean soup and roast pork with kabocha and field greens.
Jeez, I got all the fixin's for beef stew this weekend and now it's going to be in the 80s. This is that time every year in SoCal where I'm like, CAN IT NOT BE HOT ALL THE TIME, PLEASE?? *sigh*
