Thank you. I need a whuffle today. Since my phone came off voicemail at 8am, until I finally managed to leave the office at 4.15, I've done nothing but firefight nutters. All the work I'd prepped at home yesterday remained untouched. I was shattered by the end of the day, but had done no actual 'productive' casework.

Is it a full moon tonight? All my team-mates had the same experience today. Angry, aggressive people on the phone, as soon as we hung up on one, the next one would call.

jan, I hear you. I haven't had a second to breathe since about 3PM yesterday. I just took a pile of contracts to my boss (sr. partner) and he was sitting in his office, head in hands, with a total look of [WTF?!] and [meep!] on his face. And here I thought corporate legal was mere paper pushing. Turns out lawyers are lawyers everwhere, clients apparently exist simply for the sake of being unholy evil delusional prats, and nothing's more stressful than a big, fat, corporate LAWYERFIGHT!! over trade agreements crap.
