The Aleve is not working. The headache will not end. And I am thirsty. And I have to wrangle some absolute-beginner kids...and then teach a class of post-proficiency folks. How I will go from "is it a pencil? yes, it is!" to writing witty haikus in a fifteen-minute break escapes me.

i had to tell someone something last night that was the equivalent of telling them they had terminal cancer of the puppy, so my sympathy gland is a bit dry as well.
Also, i suspect my uterus resents me.
Can you get some B complex vitamins? Energy drink? Banana bag?

I never use Aleve for headaches. Excedrin or just caffeine. Also lots of water.

You can safely take a bunch of those (5-6), but the high doses don't work day after day.

They worked for me on the construction jackhammers upstairs.

Think of post-proficiency as something analogous to postmodernism: we're tired of this proficiency shit, so let's just fuck around! Start with writing haikus about pencils.

We actually didn't end up writing haikus, but we did discuss the words kudos and mellifluous, which was cool. They are a neat bunch of people. I'll take any suggestions for words you think I can slip in.
