What do you have far too many of? [More:]The first for me is lip products. I am not allowed to buy any more lip products until I make a serious dent in the stash I have now. This will be difficult, as I love trying new products. But I have no more room to put the old stuff!

The second for me is Kiehl's samples- everytime you buy something from Kiehl's, they'll throw in a few sample packets of other products, which I generally throw in my medicine cabinent. They're nice to use in a pinch, but I need to start using them up regularly or they'll take over my bathroom!

How about you?
Books! I have way too many books, they've long overspilled my three bookcases and are piling up on the floor, and my bookcases have overspilled my wall-space.

Must - get - rid - of - precious - beautiful - lovely - will certainly read again sometime - books -

I have too many dirty dishes. They are mostly dirty, and if I don't clean them I end up eating out instead, which is unhealthy. I need to clean them, but I'm too lazy.

Currently I have far too many (2) 900 LB strobe light units sitting in my front room. (The flash will light newspaper on fire from 10 feet.) My job for today is to see if I can get away with putting them in the hallway outside my door. At least I know no one will steal them. The landlord will most likely object, but I'll get a month or two of respite.

WANT!

Books, clothes that I don't wear (most still with tags), papers that had meaning at one point in time but no longer do, knicknacks.

Unfinished projects/materials for projects I haven't yet begun. It fusses me to have too many works-in-progress around, waiting for me to get to them. Though I am working on reducing them and am making some progress in that regard. My goal is to not have more than one unfinished project in each medium (i.e., one stained glass project, one sewing project, one painting or sketch, etc.)

Otherwise, I'm pretty good about not acquiring tonnes of stuff. I weed out my belongings regularly and get rid of the things I never use.

I have too much lip stuff, too. All in the same color. You would think I would switch it up a bit, but I buy the similar shade over and over.

We have way, way too many books. In our old house I had built floor-to-ceiling bookcases that lined the entire dining room wall-to-wall. In addition we had a bookcases in the living room, my wife's office, my office and the upstairs hallway. Right now those books are sitting in 90+ boxes in the garage waiting for new bookcases in the new house. Fortunately, our living room has an eleven foot ceiling, so we can build really freaking big bookcases.

Books, clothes that I don't wear

We have way, way too many books.

You silly people, you can never have too many books. Too many books you don't have time to read, now that's another thing.

When it's time to move, I've got too many books. Also too many records, too many CDs and too many video games. And, oddly enough, too many pint glasses--a bar I like was doing a weekly promotion for a while. After doing some serious paring-down lately, I've got roughly the right amount of clothes, tools, board games and bikes.

Food. We will survive the zombie attack when it comes, but my house looks like an off-license with cereal, oil, juice, rice etc etc stacked high on top of the cupboards.

I had too many admin staff but then one resigned today, so that sorted itself out.

And books. Not in general (totally in agreeance with Daniel Charms above, unless of course they're crap books) but for my bookshelves. Floor-to-ceiling bookshelves will be one of the first things I install when we finally get around to buying a place. Preferably high ceilings, so I can have one of those rolling library ladders. That would be ace.

I have too many old unonrganized bills. I need to either rip them up and toss or actually figure out some filing system.

I also have too many cake/soup/hot chocolate mix type stuff in my cabinet. I have to stay home one of these nights and make them. A lot of them are for 2 people, so I keep waiting to have a winter boyfriend, but I should stop holding my breath and just eat 2 cakes myself.

Also, blackberries. Possibly too much poultry as well. I think there are four dozens eggs in the fridge right now.

Body lotions. You can only rotate so many scents in a week.

Another one with too many lip products. Lipsticks, glosses, stains, you name it. Many of them I liked at one time, but now I think they look too orangey on me.

As for books - I have too many, but too many is never enough.

Sleds. I have four old Flexible Flyers and I can't resist them too well. I don't even know what to do with them. I just love them - it's a bit of a "Rosebud" thing.

Mason jars. Another thing I love and want to save. I've used as many as I can to hold dry goods and spices, and still have a box full.

Things that need places where they belong.

Unread magazines i have been organizing for easy, tidy consumption now that my paper reading switch is in the on position and my encroaching extreme crap alarm has gone off. Only one stack to go!
Comestibles going bad.
Paper in need of sorting, filing or destroying.
People i wish ill.
People i've neglected.
Kitty affection that limits my functionality.
"Potential."
Dust.
Yet unused spares, supplies, scraps, shards and questionable items waiting to be something.
Undone yet urgent tasks.
Valid excuses that assuage me not.

And oddly, hope and optimism.
Probably from too much coffee.

Reasons to shut up now.
