I'm Looking For A Knitting Project.
I would make this but I don't have a cat. Any suggestions?[More:]
I currently have 880yards Lopi - 2 each earthy toned yellow, red, charcoal and, green at 110yards each.
I love that! I say make it anyway... you never know when it might come in handy.

You make a good point. And Christmas is coming. Of course a blanket would be nice too although I would have to buy more yarn to get the right amount of each color. BTW, did you see the rest of the International Cat Hats?

Puppets.
Or Hellboy.
i'm considering figuring out this felting business once i figure out what a perl is. i really gotta get on that.
Otherwise, a hat. i have cool knitting cards i have never used with eared hats and babby clothes, etc. Maybe i should scan them.

Goddammit.
Sorry, browser problem.

Can someone fix that?
For some knitted minions, maybe?

I have a cat. Just saying... :)

OOOO Eth, those are all good choices!

And once you get your purl down, you're gonna like felting. I've done slippers and am thinking of doing a small rug/mat for the kitchen.

As for the cards, I think I want to make something just for me this time. I just finished a felted womb - I felted the one on Knitty.com for a friend. It came out great! I put chocolates in it and a little music box playing "over the rainbow." My friend LOVED it.

And Al, if you'd like, I can make your cat a fez. I don't usually make stuff for others but, I will make an exception IF you promise to post pictures. My email is in my profile.

I did see the others - also the home made mustard.

Excellent website. I have subscribed.

My friend made this, which looked excellent.

I LOVE THAT HAT! Bookmarked.

Yea, there's a lot on that blog worth looking at. Even pickles!

i really need to figure stuff out. Figuring stuff on your own is cool, but then you have to figure out what everyone else is on about, too.
i already have an idea for felting.

Ooh, and this isn't knitting, but has cool projects too.

Ethylene: If you have any questions just ask. I figured knitting out myself - the purl took a little extra effort. Knittinghelp.com was my go-to place for answers.

Johnath: Those are cute. I bet my niece would love one of those kits.

Hey MonkeyButter - are you on Ravelry yet? Their pattern/yarn search is hecka robust - you can search by a combination of yardage, type of fiber/weight of yarn, category, whether you want felt projects or not, etc. etc.

Alternately, you can search by yarn and look at what other people made with 880 yards of Lopi.

This is fantastic, Mud! THANKS

(Oh and I should mention that I have let YouCanCallMeAl know that I will be making a fez for her cat. Pictures at some point for all to view.)

MonkeyButter: I replied to your email. Did you get it?

Is your email "Adult Bedtime Enhancer?" Probably not. No then, I didn't get it.
