I love the name: Sugar Glider. It sounds like it should be some wonderful kind of candy. But I don't want one. I'd be nervous it would take a flying leap and land on me. It looks like the kind of pet best appreciated at a distance.

I hope all breeders are as conscientious as the one in the article. I know too many people who would get one for the vanity value and then neglect it.

The are really cute, and like all cute non-cat/dog animals, illegal in California. It's really not fair. I love the idea of them gliding around the living room.
