Aw, you bunnies Thank you so much for your good wishes. We are home now and everyone is awesome. Photos are up on my flickr stream.
(I made you an announcement, gaspode. If you want a "real" one with her inches, and different pics, fonts or colors, I would be glad to make one for you!
jonmc:Is it just me or does that blanket look like a teeny-tiny straitjacket?
Swaddling apparently mimics the tightness of the womb, restricting movement and adding comfort before babies can comfort themselves.
When a baby is swaddled during the night to sleep (wrapping a baby like a little burrito), they will sleep longer and sounder. They also learn that this is a sign of a long sleep ahead. Your baby will take best to this swaddling if it is done from day one when you arrive home.
Greetings tiny human! She's sooo beautiful.
Eth's right, though. The whole point of having tiny babies is so you can dress them funny. Or draw moustaches on them. Nothing draws attention like a baby with facial hair.
