I've only recently been to a bbq that had those. They're also called "The Luther" after Luther Vandross. It was supposedly his favorite sandwich.

I pointed out his relatively young death to explain the normal bun on my burger.

If the cheeseburger doesn't do it for you, how about Krispy Kreme doughnut bread pudding. One of the casino burger bars here has it on their menu.
