Leopard, Vista and XP, oh my! Riddle me this, oh Microsoft:[More:] How is it that on my Dell XPS m1530 running its factory standard Vista I can't browse other computers running XP on the network (which I can from every other computer on the network) but if I boot into Leopard on the same computer I see them sans problems? How is that a hacked version of another company's supposedly incompatible OS can handle your own goddamn network better than your flagship OS?
Don't get me wrong, I like Vista, but why go out of your way to break your own networks?
Vista is the new standard. It's all the other shit that's incompatible. Bow down to your new Vista overlords and BUY NEW VISTA LICENSES NOW!

XP shrinkwrap was discontinued on 7/31. We were totally sold out within a week.
They quietly un-discontinued it about two weeks ago.

For the corporate customers that matter: the IT deptartment will deploy a workaround.

For the non-corporate customers that don't matter: What, you're reading this bit? Wow.
