I don't think they're going to pull through. The immediate issue is that users have created ways to download songs without paying, but there's also the issue of MuxTape not paying royalties. Once any of these services get big enough they're going to have to pay publishing. The service they offer is way beyond a previewing experience, even though for me I've been turned onto a few good bands via MuxTape. Of all of the services where you could stream music, MuxTape was/is my fave. It has a sense of fun that the others don't quite capture. There's a very zen simplicity to the site that I really dug.
