But I have to disagree with at least one of their findings. It is definitely a diuretic for me. Maybe not more dehydrating overall, but definitely faster.

The only thing I "know" about coffee, is that newlyweds (past) were asked not to drink it. If the missus drank coffee, offspring didn't show up quite as fast as when they didn't. It's an old wives tale - but the funny thing is that in the mid-nineties I saw some study that revealed seven-cups a day would increase estrogen in women. Like the pill! How the heck did the old wives know this? ;) Not a diuretic for me.

* I drink 7-9 cups of coffee each day, never wee much but do have yellow teeth.

consumers report an improved sense of well-being, happiness, energy, alertness and sociability,

Yep - an improved sense of all that is what I need immediately upon waking up, when I have a very unimproved sense.

So this little roundup indicates that coffee is great for you. Awesome.

I liked how they debunk all the supposedly bad stuff about caffeine. Now on askme whenever someone tells someone else to quit caffeine, I can post a link to this article.
