She's gone : ( →[More:] My grandmother passed away this morning. After I made that last post, I got an email from my brother saying that she had a heart attack this week, and that they discovered bladder cancer. So we knew it was imminent.

90 years is a good run, but we're all gonna miss her.

Aw, so sorry Doohickie. My grandma lived to be almost 101. And even then it's sad. She died about 3 months before my son was born and I'm sad she didn't get to meet him. But we had a lot of happy years together.

I decided to fly up for the funeral. The yin and yang of my mind were conflicted most of the day- I thought of all the stuff that's going on at work and the cost of the plane tickets versus... my Gram.

Gram won.

I fly out tomorrow (Sunday) and return Tuesday after the funeral.

I'm sorry to hear of this, Doohickie. Ninety is a great age (my grandfather passed at 91) but no matter the age, we still miss them.
