We used to have get in the house when I was growing up. I think they're cool.
When the babies are milling about and some sign of danger comes along (like, say, a curious 10-year-old who stomps at the ground in order to get a reaction out of spiders), all of the babies zip simultaneously and with blinding speed onto the mama's back. It's almost like there's a magnet or something. They're neato.
I've had an image in my mind, since I was a kid, of a bug that lays its' eggs under my skin, only for them to hatch and crawl out all over me. In comparison, this picture is nothing.
Wow, that's some picture! I think it's neat, too. I'm more impressed with the detail on the picture. I like spiders, just not the ones who drop down on you from your car visor. As you're driving.
