Love it! It's amazing how determined squirrels can be.

I KNOW I saw that on some "amazing animals" tv show back when I watched "amazing animals tv shows", which is quite a few years ago. Googling around YouTube I discovered a British beer commercial based on this, and it's dated 1989. (But who believes the dates put on YouTube videos?)

Anyway, I'm sure that by now, squirrel obstacle courses are even tougher and squirrels are even craftier (at least in the UK). Fortunately, somebody in the US has stepped up to the challenge just in the last year (and he's in California, natch).

Sure beats a dramatic prairie dog mislabeled as a chipmunk.

I bet I'm not the only person who went "Heeeeee!" when the skwerl ran away with the candy bar.

Wendell, that commercial is dated right. I remember it being on TV.

That was great! There was a squirrel that used to regularly raid the mini mart by my old office and steal candy bars. It knew exactly when to run in the door and run back out.

I don't think I'll be able to get that terrible fake Mission: Impossible theme out of my head for days.

(But yeah, this has made the rounds for years, I know I saw it pre-YouTube)
