What did you buy today? [More:]I bought absolutely nothing. Not even a 99 cent song or a cup of coffee. I love these days.

I was very tempted to buy some pretty fabric and some new FLOR tiles but I thought better of it and pressed X. I'll sleep on it. Maybe I'll buy them tomorrow.

What did you buy?
Nothing.

Nothing. An upside of never leaving your house is a decrease in the number of things you buy walking down the street. Of course, sometimes the internet wipes that away.

3 coffees. A pack of cigarretes. 2 beers at a bar. A six pack of beer at the store and a box of Strawberry Whoppers.

Two tanks of gas, doughnuts, water, dinner at Lily's Dim Sum Then Some, parking for 90 minutes downtown.

And FLOR tiles are the shizz. We're thinking of getting some too.

Breakfast (cereal and a hard-boiled egg), lunch (a Blimpie combo sandwich with a cookie and a drink), and a case of Guinness (I always re-load sometime mid-week).

Usually I take my (frozen Lean Cuisine) lunch to work, so it was unusual that I bought lunch on a workday, but there it is. I forgot it this morning.

I also had two Throbbing Gristle CDs show up in the mail from Amazon today, but I bought those days ago, so I don't think they count.

2 twelve-roll packs of toilet paper. On sale. Plus a two dollar off coupon.

I wish I'd bought, like, a houseboat today. Or a factory. I'd win this thread.

i treated myself. i bought four dresses at $20 each. three of them seem suitable enough that i can cover them with one of those little half sweaters and go to the office (business casual corporate whore here). that should get me through the summer.

This print for the boy's room. I just got done painting it a lovely cool grey with crisp white trim. I'm going with a retro robots and rocket ships theme. I picked up these cute pictures from etsy a few weeks ago. I'm considering making him a crib blanket from this material, but I'm worried about getting too "themey."

I bought 10 rolls of 127 infrared film, 5 rolls of ISO 25 120 film, and 17 ounces of Rodinal concentrated developer.

I think I might need to buy more of the 127 film. At 5 bucks a roll it's a bargain, and preserves well in the freezer...

retro robots would be a cool band name.

Nothing. But I'm almost out of gas so I'll have to give up my firstborn tomorrow. What happens if you're childless? Do gas stations now accept pets?

Nada here too.

Coffee, couscous and a dress because none of my clothes fit, still.

A pair of pretty shoes with cute kitten heels that actually fit my giant feet without looking like canoes.

Puppy food, a bigger collar, two tiny tennis balls, and a nylabone. Yay for the pet store!

I did not know that Whoppers came in strawberry flavor. I want some.

Four pork chops and a pound of pork sausage at one of the local gour-met emporiums.

A twelve-pack of Diet Coke at the convenience store. A shitty pastry at the Starbucks across the street.

I bought the Settlers of Catan board game. I also bought fries, sour cream, and ice cream.

Two SD memory cards from woot. Two Calistoga sparkling waters (I'm so fucking addicted to these things that I can't fit them into the recycling bin even if I crush them). One bottle of Carlo Rossi wine (yeech, but it's cheap -- maybe I should switch to beer). Yesterday I received, and tomorrow I will pay for, Myst for the Nintendo DS from a coworker who hated it, and I'm not sure I like it, but I'm not sure I hate it either, so that kinda evens out to today.

My train and tram ticket for the week, Buring Noodles for lunch, and, actually, that is it.

I paid my credit card off in full last night, so I'm being good and being frugal, so I can gaze in admiration of my available credit for a little while longer!

I bought a houseboat factory. Do I win?

Seriously, I bought a coffee from Hudsons (tall flat white, extra hot) on the way to work this morning, a steak and bacon pie for lunch and I think I am getting fast food on the way home from work.

Nothing! 2 packs of cigs were purchased on my behalf, though, so I'm still doing my bit for the economy despite being housebound (too gross to be in public).

dg, can your factory make the island boat featured in the Imperial Leather soap ads ("Simon, Tahiti looks nice")? Do up the paperwork, I'll take two.

I really wish someone would buy me a baguette - a boulangerie fairie, maybe. If I had a dog I'd train it to go to the shop with a little basket in its mouth with money and a note.

1/2 gallon milk, dog & cat food. Exciting stuff.

Yesterday, I bought a pizza and a six-pack of beer. I'd like to say that's not typical, but, yeah, it probably is.
