A good read! Thanks for posting this, even though I completely missed the earlier thread, and now my earworm is twisted into knots trying to pick a favorite. Can. Not. Do it.

In my head right now, I'm hearing riffs and snips of about ten different songs, and popping up between is Flight of the Conchords' Bowie to Bowie impressions. It's dizzying.

Cool! I don't know a lot of those by name, but Bowie's one of those artists that I seem to forget names of album cuts - but once I hear them I have that "oh yeah, THIS one!" moment. I love reading artists I'm a fan of talking about their music. I wish there was a compilation of the autodiscographies that Trouser Press used to do.

My favorite Bowie song? Changes, depending on my mood.

Nice read! Some really great ones on his list that I sometimes overlook -- "Bewlay Bros." and "Sweet Thing/Candidate" are both effin' amazing. "Fantastic Voyage" is a doozy, too -- that was one of my faves for a long time.

I couldn't respond to that earlier thread because every time I read someone's comment, I'd agree. Then I'd read what the next person said about the next song, and agree with that.
