Isn't that where the mods and rockers rioted?

My husband has a relative that lives in Brighton. He decorates his house every year to the hilt for Christmas. It's a big attraction.

Indeed it is, Jon.

Forgot to add that I love seeing these photos! Brighton is beautiful. Glad you had a good time!

As a Who fan in the States, the first thing I think (like Jon) is Quadrophenia and the mod riots. It looks quite lovely in your pictures!

I've only been to Brighton once, during torrential rains, in the winter.

The newspaper signboard is amazing...I wish we had more of those here!

Awesome pictures ej. It felt like a mini-vacation just browsing that flickr set.

I didn't realize that England eats baked beans for breakfast. Fantastic.

Looks lovely... reminds me of the Jersey shore. The street scenes and beach.

Can't wait to see you in a couple weeks!

I can't hear that without thinking "...I've been to Eastbourne too..."

Very nice! I had no idea the sky could actually be blue over there. It was gray the whole week I was over several years ago.

EJ you look GREAT. Still kettlebelling?

Agreed. I really liked Brighton.

Friends of mine used to live there. I miss visiting them, especially in weird drizzly weather.

I'd like a tepid swimming bath too, Jan.

I'll have the "Chicken Without Sexual Life" please. || Remember the Bowie question from the other day?
