So tell me about Muxtape. Because it seems pretty okay, but not necessarily, like, wonderfully compelling, and so I feel like I'm missing something.

box - for me muxtape is just a fun outlet to put out a few songs for people to hear without any downloading needed. You can just click and listen. And I like the transient nature of it - for people that continually change their muxes it's just a moment in time. I even now like the 12 song limit (which I hated at first), because I'm more likely to check out other people's mixes and stick around for the whole thing. I'm sure if they said I could put 200 songs up there, I'd put 200 songs up there (I have no will power and restraint isn't one of my strong characteristics), whereas the short mix forces you to focus a bit. That's like I'll always prefer to look at a list of someone's 20 favorite albums rather than a list of their whole collection. I enjoy seeing the choices somebody has made.

I am wearing my Husker Du t-shirt today! I toss that song on mixtapes all the time. I am just a few years younger, this is a great mix.
