Oh, man, y'all's got it way worse than me at the moment.

I will say one thing, though - someone needs to write a self-help book called "OVERLY-EXTROVERTED ASSHOLES AND THE KIND, OVERLY-SENSITIVE PEOPLE WHO ENABLE THEM" and we all need to read it, take workshops, etc. At least I do, and, from reading this thread, I don't think I'm alone.

MY PARENTS WATCH FOX TOO. THEY THINK ALL OTHER NETWORKS ARE LIBERAL CRAPOLA. ALTHOUGH THEY NEVER HAVE IT ON WHEN WE ARE THERE. WE ALWAYS WATCH CASH CAB OR BASEBALL OR SOME OTHER NEUTRAL PROGRAM.

THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF TO SHOUT ABOUT IS THIS:

WE WATCH THE TODAY SHOW AT WORK. MEREDITH INTERVIEWS THE PERSON AND HER LAWYER WHO IS SUING VITORIA'S SECRET FOR DEFECTIVE THONG UNDERWEAR. THERE IS A PERSON ON THE TREADMILL. SHE SAYS, "YOU KNOW IF SHE IS THAT BIG ON TOP SHE MUST BE QUITE BIG ON THE BOTTOM AND HAS NO BUSINESS WEARING A THONG." ??? WE BOTH AGREED THAT THONGS ARE UNCOMFORTABLE AND IT COULD BE A FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT BUT THIS WOMAN WENT ON AND ON ABOUT THE WOMAN'S APPEARANCE.

LATER THAT DAY WE ARE WATCHING FAMILY FEUD. ONE OF THE PATIENTS MAKES A DEROGATORY COMMENT ABOUT ONE OF THE FAMILY'S RACE. A few minuter later one of our 90-year old patients walks over to me and jokes, "You know, that Milly. She is a very tolerant person." It made me laugh and feel better about my fellow human being.

Hi Doohickie.

La Noumba is a great show.

Leu Gardens are nice. The Orlando Science Center is right next door, but mostly aimed for kids.

Other than that I can't think of anything except theme parks, unfortunately. I try to avoid Orlando.

Do you have time for the Kennedy Space Center? It's 45 minutes from Orlando.

I hope you have a good weekend, Doohickie. I didn't know you were going to be nearby. When do you leave?

Heh. My right-wing co-worker is not really Fox News, more like... David Brooks? She's very smart, and she's very analytical, and she knows she's surrounded by liberals, so it's like she just talks and talks and talks in order to keep us from talking over her, and in general, she makes sense for the first 80% of what she's saying, even if it feels like she's cherry-picking facts a bit, but then she reaches her conclusion and it's like "Where the fuck did you get that from?" But she's already swept away and there's no stopping her at that point.
