I'm alive...and so is the MeCha Fantasy Football League! Yahoo fantasy football is up on the site and I went ahead and renewed the league.→[More:] If you participated last year, you should have gotten an invite to participate again this year. If you didn't play last year but want to play this year, here is the league info:
Yahoo Fantasy Football 2008, League ID: 45525, password: bunnies.

Since the live draft is always tons of fun, I figure we can do it again. Right now draft day/time is Sunday, August 24 at 7pm CDT, though I can always change that.

I'm having a hell of a time defending my MeFi fantasy baseball crown; just fell into third this week. So I'd like to do this, but I'll hold off for a bit 'til all of last year's participants get a chance to sign up.

OK, thanks, rainbaby and sisterhavana! If it was just a 10-team league last year, then raising it even 4 more teams wouldn't be bad at all. I'm in, with a temporary team name inspired by Steve Martin and Dion DiMucci.

(And if I finish second in the fantasy baseball league to a team named after the Giants beating the Pats... I will unleash torrents of profanity across the entirety of the internet. I am dead serious.)
