Twitter doesn't have any musculature, so what would steroids do to it? Does it put an asterisk next to your messages? Do you say it STEER-oids or STARE-oids?

It's got a timeline and you can respond directly to people's posts in a threaded manner. So it's better information design than Twitter.

I previously noted (on twitter, broken into 2 under-140-character messages):

hmmm... Plurk let me have "wendell" as my name. that's a positive. karma points, emoticons, users with anime avatars, not so positive.

also the name Plurk and the headless dog logo? not gonna be a twitter killer.

(also, matildaben, the timeline and threaded comments just show that it HAS information design, as opposed to Twitter's none)
