Fictional evil organizations - There's SPECTRE from James Bond, KAOS from Get Smart, and my personal fave, the Guild of Calamitous Intent from the Venture Brothers. Who am I missing?[More:]

PS: Feel free to make something up.
While not evil, the first thing I thought of was the Diogenes Club.

Lancelot Link's foe was CHUMP (Criminal Headquarters for Underworld Master Plan) and Derek Flint battled Galaxy. And then there's the most sinister of all: BOFFOE!(Bmarkey's Opposition of Famous Fictional Organizations of Evil!).

Cogswell Cogs.

Cogswell wasn't actually evil, though, was he?

SMERSH wasn't fictional.

VersaLife (Deus Ex)
The Combine (Half Life)
DomZ (Beyond Good & Evil)
Brotherhood of Nod (Command & Conquer)
Brotherhood of Evil (Doom Patrol/Teen Titans)
Brotherhood of Mutants (X-Men)

Yeah, I was gonna say--as I remember it, Spacely was at least as evil as Cogswell. Kinda like GM and Ford. That said, it's been a while since I've seen The Jetsons.

(Also, Kogswell.)

What was the group in Bones? Or what that the illuminiti?

Does Janus count, from Goldeneye. It was a group but also one person.

ZOWIE (Zonal Organization World Intelligence Espionage) from James Coburn's "Our Man Flint". No... wait... that was the organization of the GOOD guys.

When in doubt... Wikipedia, which does mix the Good secret organizations with the Bad ones.

My faves include Section 31 from Star Trek: DS9 (Trek dabbling in a paranoia plot? Hell yeah!), TRES in Foucault's Pendulum (which I pretend I've read when I want to act intellectual), The Millennium Group from you-know, and those sworn enemies of the cartoon Kids Next Door, THE DELIGHTFUL CHILDREN FROM DOWN THE LANE (TDCFDTL?).

Interesting on the list how many creators called their secret (usually evil) society "The Trust". No shortage of irony.

A.I.M - Advanced Idea Mechanics. From Marvel comics. AIM made MODOK. All fear MODOK!

Also The Hellfire Club from the X-Men. Not to be confused with this one, or the Electric one.

The Hellfire Club from The Avengers. Steed joins the Hellfire Club and Emma Becomes the Queen of Sin and sets the course of my sex life...

And X-men did rip it off.
