I have never heard this Cat Stevens song before. I think it is very strange.

I'd never heard it before, either. It sounds so happy and poppy, but then you have those lyrics. Heh! Bizarre.

Also: he looked SO different back in his young, clean-shaven days.

I love that song. If you haven't heard a lot of his early, poppy stuff, I'd recommend Matthew & Son (if you can find it) or The Early Tapes.

Another one with odd lyrics (plus doggies!): I Love My Dog.
