Radio_Replica ...continuing the tunes after BP's set. 10pm to 12:15am. Gothic and EBM.[More:] Going for some longer, epic songs in this set. Features some oldies-but-undead-goodies that you'll recognise from the first few bars. EBM first, then Goth.
Oh, that's 10pm PST.

Zach -I hate to miss it, but bed is calling. I actually have to get up early, but I'm intrigued by what you'll play. I don't even know what EBM is (Elephant Beats Monkey?), but I always like some good goth.

EBM - Electronic Body Music. Originally thought up by Front242 (channeling's Kraftwerk) to describe their sound. Think 242, Nitzer Ebb, Revolting Cocks, A Split Second, D.A.F, etc.

Hi, Zackypoo! I'm not on because I just woked up and husband is still asleep in the next room... plus I'm not sure it's a goth kind of morning... but, hi!

taz! hi taz!

I'm in, at least for a bit.

Oh, and the goth stuff is a bit later. Now it's thumpy dancey EBM. Probably not for mornings either. Warp yerself to my timezone, wouldya?

For a second there I was totally looking for user "likeinitsofar".

Rammstein double RAWKS.
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 00:17
Nice mixing! Damn...

I'd never heard of Lacuna Coil till I got GH3, but I like everything I've heard since then.
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 00:20
Lacuna Coil's "Swamped" is amazing - an even bigger sound than this song.

Ha! And now My Life w/ the TKK.. sweet
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 00:29
I saw the TKK do this song live, and he actually screamed all the screams in the song, and still went on to do the rest of the set. Dope forever, forever loaded!
posted by Zack_Replica 24 May | 00:30
And now the TKK's split group, the EHC. "The music says "Rise", it says "Kill", why blame it on me? I didn't write the music."
posted by Zack_Replica 24 May | 00:36
*hearts* Electric Hellfire Club

Not as much as TKK, though.
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 00:44
Ok, I always thought Revolting Cocks were just a joke band, but this is a very cool song.
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 00:58
Maybe a joke, but a good one. Ministry and Luc Van Acker.

I'd heard their remakes and stuff, which were always kind of jokey, but that song was good in its own right. (I'm a lifelong Ministry fan, but never followed Al's side projects...)

Noted.

Oh hell yes.. J&MC

I've got "Attack Ships ... On Fire", and "You Often Forget" EP's, along with the CD of "Beers, Steers and Queers." I can rip stuff for you if you'd like.
posted by Zack_Replica 24 May | 01:13
Oh, wait, we can't do that here. Copyrights, the RIAA and all that. I'll email you tomorrow about it.
posted by Zack_Replica 24 May | 01:15
The Jesus and Mary Chain had at least an inkling of what Phil Spector and Brian Wilson were up to, but their guitars were sharp as knives and they didn't want to pull 'em back.
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 01:15
I wish we could tag-team these DJ sets. THAT would be awesome.
posted by BoringPostcards 24 May | 01:20
Huh. Missed the Nephilim show because I live in goddamn North America.
posted by Zack_Replica 24 May | 01:21
Very awesome. The timing is all off between what I hear on my system and what plays on yours. This is what screws that idea. :(

Flesh For Lulu. What a great beginning to a song....
posted by Zack_Replica 24 May | 01:23
Man, I have to get to bed, but this has been INCREDIBLE. Your show sounds like my adolescent mind. :D

Thanks man... talk to you later.
