1. So far, running in my barefoot shoes is difficult, but awesome nonetheless. Build them muskles.
2. We will be introducing my baby to swimming pools and rivers this weekend. I anticipate crying, but he's got a Spider-Man swimsuit.

1. Finally getting started on the work project that will dominate my life for the next month or so. It's good to be moving on it, finally, but I'm bummed I have to work on Monday.

2. I should be hung over today, after kinda misbehaving last night, but thankfully, I'm not.

3. No real plans this weekend, and I hope to keep it that way.

1. I forgot it was a holiday weekend. I should be working like a lunatic right now because I'm behind as hell, but I'm not. Bad, bad girl.
1a) Party at a friend's tomorrow night. Otherwise, sweet, sweet nothing all weekend. Yes.

2. I have to call some businesses who are going to sponsor an event of ours and ask them for their logos for the (late! overdue! hurry up!) postcards I'm doing right now. I'm putting this off because I have a sinking feeling that they're the kind of businesses who are going to say "Huh? Logo?" and fax me a piece of letterhead instead of emailing me a high res .tif oh alas alack a day.

3. My house is immaculately clean which is a long story but, hey, it feels so nice I might just try to keep it that way.

1. Finished with my phone interview to reinterview for the job I've been doing (more stressful than I anticipated - I was a cool cucumber until about five minutes before the call came).

2. Office is closing early today, so I hope to read and maybe a draw a bit this afternoon.

3. Hoping to avoid the multitude of chores this weekend and relax. Goal is to grill at least twice this weekend! And drink. Eat grilled food and drink cold beer. Hopefully not much else.

3// 9.30am and I still haven't started any work yet. Closing early, too. Off to get some cereal and grab some charts - I should be able to plow through my day's work in an hour.

1. My new Adidas kick ass, I just had an awesome workout.
2. I have to go to the eye doctor and get my eyes bomb-dilated in an hour, which sucks big donkey balls. I will be out of commission for the rest of the day as a result.
3. In compensation, I get to go out to dinner with one of my favorite friends tonight. Preferably, somewhere low lit and nearby, so I can stagger home blindly (not blind drunk).

1) We are packing. It's 4am here and neither of us can sleep so we're packing the small cruft into boxes.

2) The cat knows that something is wrong and is alternating between yowling for breakfast (4 hours early) and trying to sit on my keyboard.

3) Sunday we should all be moved and done so hopefully will be able to accept a friends invitation to his Eurovision party where I intend to get disgracefully drunk.

I love my kittens so much.

They are very purry and snuggly when we get home from work.

Other half is busy playing video game with both kittens curled up on him.

1. Showed up for the second possible day of work this week aaaaand it started to rain. Now at home hoping it clears up and isn't too too wet so we can maybe get some work in this afternoon.

2. *Just* found out that the clients want the rest of the interior started right away. "But you don't have the paint." Yes, we fucking do, because the jackass who started the job before me went with stupid bad local hardware store paint, so we're stuck using it for the duration. We could have been working all week if anyone had bothered to let us know, and had gotten the one thing we're missing (and need for stage 1) while they were in town. For fuck's sake.

3. Helping my anti-internet friend register for WorkSafe BC (aka Worker's Compensation) for his next job. Turns out he can't register online as he was hoping to (or rather as he was hoping I could do for him), as he'd need an email address. Never seen an email in his life, doesn't have an email address, wouldn't use one if he did, won't be accessing the internet after I leave. Guess we're doing it by fax.

4. Just realized that I have 10 days to finish packing and get my crap outta here. Yikes!

1. Someone I love is in trouble. He's pretty private, so I won't say more, but we're kind of walking around in a daze this week. I feel all hollow inside; I can only imagine how he feels.

2. Trying to cope the only way I know how: cooking for them, offering to run errands and do some family-care. I feel so helpless.

3. A friend invited self and wife for dinner tonight, then called back to say another couple would be delighted to join us. I'm not sure how this happened, but I couldn't be more delighted that they're coming. The floor is swept, the food is prepped, the wine and cider are chilled. It feels good.

1. Had a fantastic lunch with two friends-one friend's treat!

2. Just got back from a walmart run. Disposable camera, snacks and such.

3. I need to do another laundry load and commence packing. But I want a nap first. I'll be up late, and besides, in three hours Grandbun will be here!

1) Legs and feet very sore from walking way too much so far today
2) Going to the DC meetup tonight provided I can make my legs take me there. I'll be there.
3) Have extended my stay till Tuesday morning.

1. Farmer's market in the morning. Can't wait!
