omg i love photoshop smart objects i iz making bannerz like a champ. wish i had some more ram tho. i have 2 gigs and i am in beachball city. can you upgrade a white mb to more than 2gigs? or speedify it otherwise?

it depends on the age of the MacBook; if it's newer than November 2007 you can put in 4 gigs of RAM and have it all work; older than that and it will only 'see' 3.25 gigs due to a weird 32-bit issue.

if you can put in a speedier hard drive, it helps a lot - even if it's a fast drive attached over FireWire and assigned as the scratch disk.
