Happy Mother's Day to all the MeCha Moms!!! One of us will be along shortly with burnt toast, orange juice and a dandelion in a vase.
Happy mother's day mecha mothers. I hope everyone of you is being treated like queens by your progeny.
My kid has deigned to hang out with me today. We just finished brunch at a nearby eatery, and now he is sitting next to me on the couch playing GTA IV. Later on, he promised to clean his room for reals. Ah, love.
Happy Mother's Day to Mecha moms and moms-to-be!!! I got a day to do nothing - it's been lovely. My own mom stopped by on her way home from Pennsylvania, so yay to staying home and feeling love from all over. I hope every mom has a great day.
Happy Mother's Day Mecha moms! I didn't have pancakes. I had hotdogs, chicken salad, chips, and neapolitan ice cream sandwiches at the parent's house. My husband left work to join us for lunch. We also shot BB guns. I am very proud of my BB gun shooting abilities.
My oldest son made me a card with a doughnut on the cover. He informed me it was a rainbow doughnut with rainbow sprinkles. I also got a homemade coupon book.
"Muffins with Mom" was at my other son's preschool last Thursday. He made me the loveliest card. It has a picture of me (it's kinda phallic in nature) and a precious message on the bottom. I also got some Burt's Bees facial scrub and soap and more cards that they colored. We are now at home playing video games. It has been a great mother's day.
Dang, it's not mothers day here yet. Actually I forget when it is but I make a HUGE deal out of fathers day (to make up for that time I forgot his birthday... oops)
Mrs. Plinth got to sleep in yesterday and today. I also spent several hours with the kids at the park yesterday so she could garden and I took them on a CostCo run today so she could sleep. Alice and I made waffles for breakfast. Mrs. Plinth's waffle was covered in fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
