So, I lived in Atlanta in high school, and I don't know if it was just Atlanta/Georgia radio at the time or what, but my friends and I would always hear songs that involved Stipe singing with pretty much anyone. We decided we were going to start a band called "Hey, Michael Stipe! Come Sing with Us!"

It seems the entire family is musically promiscuous, I guess.
