I used to work as a trainer at a mailing house employing people with developmental disabilities, and twice or thrice we had an anthrax scare after opening envelopes (competition entries for the newspaper) and finding mysterious white powder. The hazmat team would have to be called and we were in quarantine until declared safe, the longest of which took five hours. Five hours of 150 employees with disabilities, about 90 of whom found firefighters particularly attractive (not to mention the female, and gay and aesthetically-appreciative male contingent of the 20-odd staff) and firefighters. I had to rescue several - they definitely don't get paid enough.

It turned out, every time, to be old glue on the envelopes that had tried and turned to powder. They DEFINITELY don't get paid enugh.

Oops, dried. Not sure how that happened!
