New goat cheese! [More:] I went into my local cheese shop over the weekend and asked for a soft goat cheese that could be spread easily on matzoh. The woman behind the counter was really excited to help me, having known the travails of spreading anything on the Bread of Affliction.
She pointed me towards the Cabridoux, and I put in in my fridge behind all the other stuff in my cheese drawer.
I just broke into it and it is great! It spread so well on the matzoh and it tastes really fresh and good.
I am a new convert. I'd eat it all year round.
How much do I love goat cheese? Spread goat cheese on a baby, and I will eat that baby.

Mmm, goat cheese. Sans baby, avec sesame and poppy biscuits. And baguette. Mmm I think I have some goat cheese and baguette...

So is that "New Goat Cheese"? Or "New Goat Cheese"?

Don't even answer. I don't want to know about the Old Goat Cheese.

Mmmm, goat cheese. I cut up a tomato from the farmer's market and sprinkle it with a bit of sea salt and goat cheese for lunch most days. It's soooo good.

Hmmm. First, dog farts, and now, goat cheese?

i, too, would eat the baby. Or at least lick the baby clean.

I would probably lick the baby clean too. I just realized I ate 3/4 of the package in the first sitting :(
I guess I'll be getting some more then.
There is also some chevre de miel (goat cheese with honey mixed in) at home waiting for me, but that is less spreadable.

No goat cheese for me. You can have mine, I'll stick to the sheeps and moo cows.

*jealous* I'm inordinately fond of Salt Spring Island Cheese Co's chevre, though its price means that I only indulge on rare occasions. Mmmmmmmm.

From the article: Salt Spring has their own currency? I didn't know that. We have one, too. We call it work. This place runs on work trades.

It's cheese from a new goat. I was thinking the same thing, predictably.
