FRIDAY!!! Oh, I'm so glad it's here. Here I am, at Panera bread, having a fun time on FFAF on ONTD, eating the last bit of my salad and soup. What are you up to?

Drinking cocktails (made with creme de violette) with Guy, playing LAN games, and listening to really good music and eating artisanal cheese. Life, she is good.

Went to soccer practice. Then ate Moe's. Sad and guilty that I didn't go to the free, beautiful jazz festival instead of Moe's. (I'll go tomorrow for sure, there is good stuff happening all weekend.) I just signed my oldest kid up for a one-week science summer day camp. Hubby and I are volunteers. Before that I read the Wikipedia entry on Cindy McCain. The background noise is a combination of SpongeBob and Lost Planet.

When we got home we saw the Zappos box holding our Crocs. We are at the point of no return.

About to eat at our local fancy restaurant -- A&G Bar and Grill, honestly -- for Greek Night. Probably going to eat the lamb roast, Greek salad, roasted potatoes, some stewy veggie side dish that looks a little like ratatouille but is spiced Greek-style, and hopefully split something yummy for dessert...

Trying to stay focused on putting a website together. Just finished watching the second episode of The Wire, season one. Ate a mixed berry salad with ginger syrup that I made all by myself. I do not allow myself bourbon before 9:00 pm, so I am counting the minutes. I will almost certainly read comic books before the night is through. Atomic Robo is full of win.

I just got inside from sitting out on the chairs on the sidewalk in front of the neighbor's house, drinking beer and wine until 11.

Just got back from an evening at our local bar watching the Orioles beat up the Yankees (woo!)

My half of Smithwicks was most delightful on this lovely evening. The reality of a summer essentially without beer just hit me.
