Sorry, I wasn't very clear about that - yes, I'll be in Boston on the 5th, but I'll be in Waltham on the 16th. In the middle I'll be on the other side of the country.

I haven't actually booked my hotel in Boston yet, so if you know of any to recommend, Eideteker, please do. I'll be trying to stay close to the city center, so I guess a place for beer on the 5th will only be limited by public transit.

jessamyn - If you want to meet up we can probably find some place halfway between Waltham and Harvard. This is my first trip to the area so I don't know where exactly, but it must be possible.

Piggybacking...is anyone planning to see X on the 20th? I'm coming up for a few days to see them and the Spanish art exhibit at the museum of fine arts. I'll be coming in late the 18th and leaving the 21st, so I'll be back in time for Specklet in NY.
