Winter Storm Warning WTF? Don't they know it's SPRING? And officially too even. GRRRRRRRR The snow has started already within the last hour, but it's acting all cute and light and pretty. We'll be overwhelmed before we know it. Bastards.

yeah but it'll help with the wildfires up and down the front range.

plus, it's colorado - snow in June isn't terribly abnormal.

Yes, that's all too true, stynxno. But, sheesh, snow is one thing, winter storm warning is another! We do need the moisture, and yes, I've been up in the mountains and have had snow in July and August. I'm just expressing my frustration at a crappy for Colorado winter, and the total lack of spring...

Seriously, from my standpoint, this looks like it's going to be a good storm.

No snow here today, but yesterday morning was 18F and this morning was 20F.

We're finally NOT getting a snow warning, but we're at 77 degrees and there's thunderstorms tonight. So far, no talk of tornadoes, but this is the type of weather they like to hang out in.

i just had an avocado salad and some wine.
Is there an avocado warning? Because i love those things and an avocado storm sounds like some kind of guacamole surprise.

An avocado storm sounds dangerous for both livestock and property - especially if the avos aren't quite ripe.

And for some reason we've got a Special Weather Statement here, to the effect that we might be getting some more snow either Friday or Saturday. Snow at the end of March was odd, snow in mid-April would be downright weird.
