Oh, never mind, I see there's an "or" there ("Republicans skew toward brown liquors like bourbon or scotch, red wine and Fiji water"). It's still a rather awkward sentence. Perhaps because I think of "bourbon or scotch" as a single category.
Also, I like bourbon. I like pizza. I cannot imagine drinking bourbon while eating pizza. I hope that was another poorly written rhetorical flourish, because otherwise... ew.

Uh uh, I've got butter and white wine in the fridge, but olive oil in my pantry. I hate fig newtons, don't know what Bear Naked granola is, and enjoy an rare and dear latte. Does that mean I should have voted for Chris Dodd?
