Photo Friday: Photos or Scans of Your Artwork
The only thing I have online are two scans of part of an altered book that I did a loooooonnnng time ago. It's ink, watercolor, and pastels over pages of an old dictionary. There's lots of writing on the page that you can't see or read. You can see them via the very first ever emcee too.

This is a felted wool cat I made last summer. I made another one around Christmas (a sleeping cat), but I gave it away.

Timely topic; I finished this (oil pastel & watercolor) last week.

Here's the flickr set of stuff I've made.

Hmmm... other than photography, the only kind of artwork I've ever done is ray-traced CGI stuff. Does that count?

Also, loquacious never seems to hang out around here anymore, but I wish he'd show up and post some of his artwork. I remember it being really fascinating.

I like to draw, but I'm more of a cartoon doodler than making finished art pieces, so here are some sketchbook pages. A few with bunnies just because it seems appropriate.

I just finished a (badly needed and poorly photographed) No Soliciting sign for my house. I try to get artsy and/or craftsy as much as possible.

This is my first MeCha post. Woo hoo!

Welcome aboard annaramma. The bad thing about your sign is that I would still knock on your door, but instead of trying to sell you something, I'd ask if you were selling those "no soliciting" signs.

Do photos of photos count?

Slack-a-gogo: Now, I see that as a win-win.

rhapsodie: Those snowflakes are fantabulous.

Such very talented bun buns. Thanks. Oh! rhapsodie, is that your show? Are they still up? How did it go? Sell anything?

Rainbaby - yep, those are my two hanging in the group show. The opening went REALLY well, and mostly because I ignored everyone and shot portraits of anyone who would let me. But I did get a card from a woman at AlaskaStock.com who wants to represent some of my stuff! Whee!

A cropped version of a piece I made was used as the header for a wrestling-related e-zine:

Book cover of a book that I did (not the boo, the cover!). It's now number six on the Danish bestseller list - I'm hoping my cover had everything to do with that. ;P

Front of the outer cover which is see-through - the title is: "You look tired should I carry your breasts?"

Open it to see the inner cover and the guy is gone, instead the woman is freeeee. Yes, it's a chick-lit book, howdyaguess?

There's more here as I did some of the inside illustrations as well. I also did the display "case" and the point of sale posters for it. All fun to do. Which reminds me, I need to bill people.

AV - I luuuurve that sewing box!

Wow--y'all are seriously talented. All of these I would happily have in my home and gaze at lovingly. Thanks for posting them.

dabitch - I've seen those scans on your blog, and you're really good. Nice style.

Ambrosia - that box looks like it should be a Transformer. The colours are dead-on.

Also, welcome to annaramma - I like the old-style tattoo art!

Thanks, yous. Means a lot!

yeay, welcome annaramma - I didn't spot it was your first postfirst, way to dive right in. :)
Thanks Zack_Replica. :)

also, I think that ethylene's cat would look so cute carefully stitched on a pillow. :) Don't yous?

This is still one of my favorite creations. I'd like to take classes again, for direction and information.
